Advanced Serger & Pattern Making Workshop: Hoodies

Date: March 11 – 18
Time: 2 Saturdays, 1:00 – 5:00 pm

In this workshop students will learn how to draft a basic hoodie pattern from their own measurements. The student will learn how to properly lay out the fabric, pin and cut the basic hoodie they have have drafted. The hoodie will be constructed with proper sewing and production techniques according to Canadian Industry Production standards. Students will purchase their own materials and bring their sergers to class along with all accessories and manuals. You will need 2.5 m jogging fleece suitable for a hoodie, which can be found at Fabricville.

Class is limited to six participants to ensure enough space and time with the instructor.

Do you dread to thread your serger? Don’t be intimated by that beautiful machine – join Barry Buckle for a four hour class that will have you up and running in no time! Be sure to bring your serger, manual, and any accessories – fabric and thread will be provided.
